HEBRON: A number of Palestinian civilians suffered from suffocation this evening after Israeli occupation forces stormed a mourning house in the town of Idhna, in the southern West Bank province of Hebron, held for three Palestinians shot dead by its forces yesterday.

Ismail, Mohammed, and Adi Abu Jaheisha were shot dead by Israeli occupation forces on Friday evening, allegedly after they entered the colonial Israeli settlement of Adora, illegally built on stolen Palestinian lands in the vicinity of the town.

WAFA correspondent said Israeli forces raided the mourning house held for the three slain young men in the town, firing live and rubber-coated metal bullets, sound grenades, and tear gas, resulting in many people suffering from teargas inhalaiton and subsequent suffocation.

The forces also broke chairs, dispersed those present, and informed the slain young men’s families that they were prohibited from holding a mourning gathering or raising flags and banners.

Israeli forces also detained some worship
ers at the nearby Noor Mosque before releasing them later.
