HEBRON: The Ministry of Health has confirmed the tragic death of 22-year-old Palestinian youth, who succumbed to critical injuries sustained earlier today from live ammunition fired by the Israeli occupation forces at the entrance of the Al-Fawwar refugee camp, located south of Hebron.

The incident unfolded as the Israeli forces stationed at the camp entrance opened fire intensively at Mohammad Hussein Masalma inside his vehicle, leaving him severely wounded. Masalma was left bleeding at the entrance of the camp.

The Israeli occupation military claimed that the young man was involved in a car-ramming attack that allegedly targeted Israeli occupation soldiers manning a checkpoint at the entrance to the camp.

Masalma was initially rushed to hospital in critical condition, where efforts to save his life proved unsuccessful, leading to his unfortunate demise, according to medical sources.
