Jeddah, March 04, 2023, SPA — Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the dangerous racist statements made by the extremist far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, calling for “erasing” Palestinian town of Huwara off the map,” considering these racist statements as a direct call for continued violence and incitement to acts of killing and intimidation being carried out by extremist settler gangs against the Palestinian people and their property.
OIC also strongly condemned the preliminary approval of the draft law to execute Palestinian prisoners, considering these void Israeli racist laws a violation of the principles and rules of international humanitarian law, the Geneva Convention on the Treatment of Prisoners of War, and relevant United Nations resolutions, requesting the international community to assume its responsibilities in putting an end to all Israeli occupation violations and provide international protection for the Palestinian people.
