Investigations conducted after the fire that erupted in one of Alexandria’s malls on Saturday attributed the incident to an outdated electrical wiring, a security source has said.
The security source further said that a malfunction occurred three days ago in the main cable feeding the electricity of the commercial center.
Investigations also revealed that one of the wires was connected manually, without taking into consideration the technical safety requirements, added the source.
