Minister of Religious Affairs and Awqaf, Hatem Al-Bakri, announced today that a fundraising campaign has been launched in Palestine to aid victims of the devastating flash floods in Libya and the earthquake in Morocco, under the banner “Palestine Stands with You.” Al-Bakri said the campaign has been launched at orders from President Mahmoud Abbas, pointing out that it aims to raise cash donations at mosques across Palestine following upcoming Friday prayers, as well as through direct donations to the bank accounts of Palestinian Zakat Fund. He emphasized the importance of this humanitarian initiative, which embodies the spirit of compassion and unity among nations during times of crisis.
