NABLUS: Tareq Shakhshir, 21, injured 10 days ago from Israeli army gunfire during a raid in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, today succumbed to his wounds, according to the Ministry of Health.

Shakhshir was critically wounded during the assault on December 18 and was getting treatment in hospital until he was pronounced dead today.

Israeli soldiers killed or caused the death of 314 Palestinians since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7 and 522 since the start of this year, according to the Ministry of Health.
