HEBRON: A Palestinian man today was shot and injured by Israeli forces’ live fire, during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

The Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) reported that its crews dealt with the injury of a 19-year-old man who was shot by live ammunition in the abdomen during the confrontations.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces further detained two people, including a former prisoner, after raiding their homes and tampering with their contents. They also stormed the homes of journalist Ihab Al-Alami, and searched the home of his relatives.

Earlier this morning, the occupation forces detained 15 Palestinians and stole an amount of cash and gold jewelry after raiding and searching of dozens of homes in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

The occupation forces also closed all entrances to the town with earth mounds, obstructing residents’ movement and causing traffic jam.
