Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki announced that the Palestinian relief team will end on Thursday its eight-day humanitarian mission in Syria and return to Palestine at Friday dawn.

Palestinian News Agency WAFA quoted al-Maliki as saying in a statement that the Palestinian relief team, which included specialized doctors, surgeons, experts from the Palestinian Red Crescent and the Civil Defense, and a crew from the Palestinian Radio and Television Corporation, worked in the governorates of Lattakia and Aleppo alongside with the Syrian and international teams.

He added that the Palestinian rescue team also has fully assumed its responsibilities in the search and rescue operations and providing medical treatment, psychological support, and relief aid to those affected, in addition to establishing mobile clinics, and dealing with field conditions in shelter centers around the clock.

Al-Maliki added that the team carried out its tasks in Jableh city and al-Raml camp, which is inhabited by Syrian and Palestinian families in Lattakia governorate, as well as in the Handarat and al-Nayrab camps and in the university hospital in Aleppo governorate.

Al-Maliki pointed out that the relief and humanitarian operations carried out by the Palestine team in Syria reflect the depth of the relationship between the both countries and their two brotherly peoples.
