NABLUS: A 17-year-old Palestinian teenager, identified as Karam Ayman Dweikat, succumbed today to injuries inflicted by Israeli military gunfire during confrontations in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, according to medical sources.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that Dweikat had sustained severe injuries in the abdomen from live ammunition fired by Israeli occupation forces, ultimately leading to his tragic death.

The fatal incident occurred during confrontations on Jabal Al-Arma, a site near the village that far-right Israeli settler groups want to take over from its Palestinian owners.

The confrontations following an incursion by dozens of Israeli settlers, backed by Israeli military forces, into the area.
