RAMALLAH: A 21-year-old Palestinian youth was killed this morning by Israeli army gunfire and three others were wounded, while a 33-year-old Palestinian man who was shot in the neck and critically injured when soldiers opened fire at Palestinians in Tulkarm on Friday has today succumbed to his wounds, according to the Ministry of Health and other sources.

In Jericho, local sources said soldiers raided Aqbat Jabr refugee camp during which they opened fire at people who confronted them killing Mueen Damo, 21, and injuring three others, one said to be critical.

The Health Ministry said Damo was hit by several bullets, one hit his head at point blank, while he was near the camp’s mosque.

Six people were also detained.

The Health Ministry also said Rami Bilal Hassan, 33, has succumbed to a bullet injury to the neck shot by an Israeli army sniper when he was in his car west of Tulkarm on Friday, raising the number of Palestinians killed in Tulkarm on that day to eight.

A total of 58 Palestinians have been k
illed by Israeli army gunfire since the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7, according to the health ministry’s data.
