Palestinian youth shot and injured by rubber bullets in Nablus-area confrontations

NABLUS: A Palestinian youth was injured this evening by Israeli forces’ bullets during a military raid into the town of Baita, south of Nablus, according to local sources.

Sources said that forces stormed the town amid the firing of rubber-coated steel bullets, stun grenades and tear gas bombs, spurring confrontations with residents.

A young man was wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets during the confrontations and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The said town has been subjected to almost daily military incursions. A military checkpoint has been erected at its entrance for more than three months, disrupting the traffic flow of residents in and out of the town.
