Palestinian youth succumbs to wounds by Israeli gunfire near Hebron

HEBRON: The Ministry of Health Monday said that a Palestinian youth has succumbed to the wounds he sustained from Israeli gunfire in the town of Dura, south of Hebron.

It said in a statement that Muhannad Ismail Al-Fasfous, 18, died as a result of critical wounds he sustained with live bullets from the occupation in the chest.

The occupation forces had stormed the town with military reinforcements, sparking confrontations, during which they fired live bullets, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and poisonous gas towards the citizens, wounding four young men with live bullets. One of them, Moataz Mahmoud Atbeish, 30, was killed as a result of serious head injuries.
