Palestinians observe comprehensive strike in Jenin in mourning of slain youths

JENIN: Palestinians in the occupied West Bank city and refugee camp of Jenin observe today a comprehensive strike in mourning for the three Palestinian youths who were killed by an Israeli drone yesterday evening.

Mahmoud Bassam Rahal, Ahmed Hani Barakat, and Muhammad Abdullah Al-Fayed, from the Jenin camp, were killed and another was seriously injured yesterday evening in Israeli drone bombings that targeted a Palestinian vehicle on the outskirts of Jenin.

Large crowds in Jenin and its camp participated in the funeral procession of the three youths in Jenin camp.

The strike included all aspects of commercial life and the public and private sectors, including educational institutions.

The national and Islamic forces in Jenin Governorate had called, in a statement, for a comprehensive strike, following the killing of the three youths.

Eyewitnesses said that Israeli drones targeted the vehicle with at least two missiles, as it was passing the street adjacent to the Ibn Sina hospital, which set the vehicle
ablaze.
