People’s Assembly: Cooperation with government to face the effects of world developments on national economy

The People’s Assembly on Sunday held its 16th session of the 5th ordinary round chaired by its Speaker Hammouda Sabbagh.

Sabbagh stressed that Syria is still subjected to unjust and unilateral economic measures taken by the Western countries that are hostile to it, particularly the US, with the aim of putting pressure on the people and the state and subjecting Syria to their schemes.

The Speaker referred to the cooperation between the People’s Assembly and the Ministers, according to their tasks, to face the effects and repercussions of developments and events taking place in the world, which may be reflected on the national economy, with reference to the government’s continuous endeavor to secure the daily needs of citizens.

“we must work together, in the Assembly and in the government, to achieve the interest of the country and the citizens, “The Speaker Sabbagh added.

Other MPs called for improving the health situation in the liberated areas, support farmers with production requirements of fuel and fertilizers, find quick solutions to address the problem of overcrowding, secure public transportation.
