JORDAN VALLEY: A photojournalist was injured on Monday by Israeli occupation army during its ongoing storming of the village of Jaffna, north of Ramallah.

Local sources said that photojournalist Ramez Awad was injured by Israeli forces’ bullets during their ongoing raid on the village of Jaffna since this afternoon.

The Israeli occupation forces also closed the entrances to villages and towns in Ramallah, and obstructed the movement of citizens.

Security sources told WAFA that the occupation forces closed the entrances to the villages and towns of Ramallah, and prevented the movement of citizens in: Atara, Rawabi, Birzeit, Silwad, Yabrud, Aboud, Ras Karkar, Shuqba, Turmus Ayya, Oyoun al-Haramiyya, Ni’lin, and Deir. They pointed out that the occupation set up a checkpoint and prevented the movement of citizens between the villages of Umm Safa and Nabi Saleh, and a checkpoint near the village of Ain Qinya.

The same sources added that the occupation forces stormed the city o
f Rawabi and Ain Sinya, north of Ramallah, and seized surveillance camera recordings.

A number of settlers from the illegal Ateret settlelemtn attacked citizens’ vehicles near Rawabi city square, north of Ramallah. One of them also opened fire at the passing vehicles, while others threw stones at a number of them, causing damages.
