Amman: Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Monday said that the ministerial committee tasked with scrutinizing the Audit Bureau’s findings is actively engaging with the Bureau’s teams, rectifying numerous identified violations through regular meetings.
The Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the Audit Bureau’s role as a distinguished independent oversight institution, acknowledging the efforts of its new administration.
He affirmed the government and Lower House of Parliament’s unwavering support for the Bureau’s commitment to safeguarding public funds and ensuring procedural integrity.
Khasawneh commended the significant strides made under the leadership of the Bureau’s president in adopting and reinforcing the best international practices in the institution’s work methodology.
