Baghdad The Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, directed today, Friday, to cancel the entry visa for Lebanese citizens who visit Iraq.

Government spokesman Basem Al-Awadi told the official agency, “Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani directed the foreign and interior ministries to take measures to suspend the work of the entry visa for Lebanese citizens visiting Iraq.”

He added, “The decision came based on bilateral relations, as well as the presence of a large number of Lebanese visitors and investors, in addition to the principle of reciprocity, after the Lebanese government decided earlier to cancel the entry visa for Iraqis.”
