Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli inspected the project of smart digital solutions system applications in Sharm El Sheikh.
The project includes smart taxi, smart parking, secured electronic payment and collection system and smart tourist cards.
The premier’s tour came as part of his visit to Sharm El Sheikh Saturday 10/09/2022 to follow up on preparations for the UN Climate Conference, COP27, which will be held in November.
The advantage of the smart taxi system is to secure tourists and visitors of Sharm El Sheikh, said South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda.
The smart taxi system includes a security scheme, which is linked to the Armed Forces’ unified national network for emergencies and public safety, he added.
Meanwhile, Madbouli also inspected a fleet of buses running on electricity and natural gas.
Provided by the Transport Ministry, these buses are exclusively equipped with handicap access and will be used during COP27 Conference.
