Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Thursday 8/12/2022 held a meeting with Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat to follow up on the progress made in projects aimed at achieving digital transformation and automating government services, in accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The communications minister posted the premier on the pace of work in the projects to automate government services offered to citizens in different sectors.

In this regard, Talaat reviewed the progress made in “Digital Egypt” projects that include digitizing Justice Ministry services, the litigation system, public notary services and family courts and prosecution services.

The communications minister reviewed the exerted efforts to increase the local manufacture of mobile phones, noting that his ministry agreed with the Trade Ministry to add this key industry to the export burden refund program, with a view to luring further investments in this field.

Talaat also pointed to the steps taken to develop the services offered by Egypt Post and open more branches nationwide.
