Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli inspected Saturday 10/09/2022 Sharm El Sheikh International Conference Center, which will be the main venue of COP27.
Madbouli was also keen to inspect the different parts of the center, including the main meeting halls and the areas designated for the delegates and media outlets and service areas.
During his tour, Madbouli underlined the need of exerting relentless efforts to organize this global event in a way that befits Egypt’s regional and international status.
The prime minister also checked the ongoing work at registration offices and service areas.
In this respect, the officials responsible of developing the center said that the registration area will be established on a total area of 5,000 sq. meters.
They also said that the materials used in the development works are eco-friendly.
The officials also briefed the prime minister on the situation of providing the materials needed for the completion of the Blue Zone.
Prior to leaving the conference center, Madbouli issued directives to prepare a weekly report regarding the progress made in the Green and Blue zones along with the main conference hall.
