Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli chaired on Monday a meeting with officials of Modern Development and Investment Company to probe a number of investment opportunities in the financial sector.

The premier welcomed the officials of the company and said he has been keen on meeting the delegation to assert the government’s readiness to probe all vistas of cooperation as part of measures aimed at supporting the private sector.

Adnan Ahmed Youssef, the Board Chairman of Modern Development and Investment Company, said it was established in 2019 with the objective of launching a mechanism for investment and running projects in numerous fields through investment funds.

He proposed the establishment of funds investing in a wide range of activities, including real estate, industry, agriculture, renewable energy, education and strategic commodities.
