Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh said today that ‘we began from the very first moment to take action at the Arab and international levels to stop the aggression and bloodshed against the Gaza Strip.’Speaking about the developments in the Gaza Strip, Shtayyeh added: ‘We made it clear to the world that security solutions adopted by Israel are useless,’ stressing that the solution only lies in ending the occupation.Under the guidance of President Mahmoud Abbas, he said: ‘We began a campaign to alleviate the suffering of our people in the Gaza Strip, and we asked our embassy in Cairo to examine options with our brothers in Egypt in order to deliver aid through the Rafah crossing.”He added that the government also contacted the World Health Organization and UNICEF to deliver aid package of medicines to the Gaza Strip and to send a medical crews as well.
