PM: Sisi directed govt to give priority to offering production requirements for industries

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has directed the government to give priority to providing production requirements for various factories in a way that helps make products easily available to citizens, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said.

 

Madbouli made the remarks during a meeting he held on Thursday 28/4/2022 to follow up on coordination between the ministries concerned and the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to facilitate procedures for providing production requirements for industries.

 

The meeting was attended by Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait, Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea, Deputy Minister of Planning Ahmed Kamali, CBE’s Deputy Governor Gamal Negm, Secretary General of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) Alaa Ezz, along with other senior officials.

 

CBE’s deputy governor said coordination is underway between the central bank and the government with a view to speeding up procedures related to providing production requirements and releasing those delayed at customs.
