PM: State encourages foreign investments in various sectors

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli underlined the importance of intensifying efforts at all ministries and governorates in preparation for the holy fasting month of Ramadan.

He also directed officials to intensify monitoring campaigns on all food commodities and strictly confront any negative practices.

He made the remarks on Wednesday while chairing the cabinet meeting which addressed a host of important issues.

At the beginning of the meeting, he offered greetings to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, government members and all great Egyptian people on Ramadan.

He also referred to his recent meetings with French and Qatari ministers, highlighting the importance of encouraging foreign investments in various state sectors.

He added that Egypt reached several cooperation agreements with France in addition to agreeing with Qatar on investments and partnerships in the coming period at dlrs 5 billion.

He added that Egypt will also ink a number of agreements with Saudi Arabia.

He also underlined the importance of enhancing partnership between public and private sectors.
