Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli witnessed Thursday 4/8/2022 the signing ceremony of a protocol between the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the Public Prosecution Authority (PPA) on bilateral cooperation in the field of technical support and upgrading IT systems.
Assistant Minister of Planning and Economic Development for Digital Transformation Ashraf Abdel Hafez and Secretary General of the Supreme Council of the PPA Ahmed Mohamed Morsi signed the protocol in the presence of Minister of Justice Omar Marwan and Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el-Said.
Following the signing ceremony, the minister of justice stressed that the protocol aims at promoting joint cooperation regarding integration in the field of technical support and developing services, through an all-out development of the IT infrastructure and incorporation of the most up-to-date techniques and advanced trends.
He also referred to an agreement to overhaul the PPA’s system of supervising election processes, together with providing a model technological unit equipped with most advanced trends in this regard.
For her part, the minister of planning said the agreement falls in line with the State’s strategy to achieve cooperation among all ministries and State bodies, with a view to offering better services to citizens, realizing the sustainable development objectives and moving to a full application of the digital transformation system.
As per the document, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development will provide all logistics, as well as technical support to facilitate the workflow at the PPA, that would in its turn lay down all required organizational and management measures, in addition to providing qualified cadres.
