VATICAN: Pope Francis today appealed for expediting the securing of humanitarian corridors for the besieged Gaza, which has been under heavy Israeli bombardment since Saturday, October 7th.

Speaking during the Angelus in St. Peter’s square on Sunday, Pope Francis urged humanitarian rights be respected, above all in Gaza, where it is urgent and necessary to guarantee humanitarian corridors to help the entire population.
