RAMALLAH: President Mahmoud Abbas chaired today a meeting of the leaders of the Palestinian security services.

During the meeting in Ramallah, the President reviewed the internal situation and the necessity of working to provide security and maintain the rule of law.

He also highlighted the necessity to strengthen the steadfastness of the Palestinian people everywhere, in light of the great dangers facing the Palestinian cause.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed Mustafa, Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hussein Al-Sheikh, and Deputy Chairman of the Fatah movement, Mahmoud al-Aloul.
