President Mahmoud Abbas discussed during a telephone call with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macronm, the latest developments in the Palestinian arena and efforts made to stop the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
President Abbas called on Macronm to intervene to spare the civilians in the Strip from the scourge of war, stressing the importance of bringing medical relief supplies and food into the Strip and providing it with water and electricity as rapidly as possible.
He stressed that targeting innocent civilians in hospitals and the Orthodox Church and destroying buildings while people are still inside are brutal crimes that cannot be tolerated.
He affirmed the need to implement the political solution in accordance with international legitimacy in order for Palestinians to gain their freedom, independence, and sovereignty, which the president stressed would ensure security and stability for everyone in the region.
