President Abbas expressed his best wishes for the success of the Republic of Cuba in its role as the chair of the Group of 77+China, reaffirming that the State of Palestine will support their efforts and work towards their success.

He expressed his profound appreciation for the supportive and solidarity-based stances of the Cuban leadership and people toward the just struggle of the Palestinian people in establishing their independent state, with Jerusalem as its capital.

In turn, President Díaz-Canel affirmed his country’s unconditional support for the just struggle of the Palestinian people for freedom, sovereignty, and the establishment of an independent state.
