Presidential spokesperson, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, condemned the heinous crime carried out by Israel against the al-Ahli hospital in Gaza, which was shelled by Israeli warplanes earlier tonight leaving hundreds of people killed and injured. He said that the killing of a large number of innocent civilians in a hospital, which may in no circumstances be attacked, affirms that this Israeli government has no regard for international standards and recognized laws. The spokesperson slammed this crime as just another crime to be added to the series of crimes committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people since the beginning of the recent aggression on our people, which so far left thousands of people killed and injured, most of whom are children and women. The presidential spokesman stressed the importance of prompt intervention from the whole world to stop this aggression and condemn these heinous crimes; which have become clear to the whole world that the vast majority of their victims are innocent civilians. He stressed that the Israeli bombardment of al-Ahli hospital, which left hundreds killed and injured is a genocide and a humanitarian catastrophe for which Israel bears full responsibility and will be held accountable before international courts.
