Prime Minister inspects a number of developmental projects in Hama

Prime Minister Hussein Arnous, chairing a governmental delegation, started on Saturday a visit to inspect a number of service and development projects in Hama province.

 

At the beginning of the tour, Arnous laid the cornerstone for al-Amal residential suburb project at the Nagarna site on Hama-Aleppo Highway, with an area of 104 hectares and with a cost of  SYP 7.6 billion

 

Arnous also put the cornerstone for the new site of Hama University project, located along Damascus-Aleppo International Highway, with nearly SYP 13 billion.

 

Reactor of Hama University, Mohammad Ziad Sultan said that the duration of the project execution contract is 1000 days with a cost estimated at SYP12.985 billion.

 

Arnous also started the work on the project of alternative energy in Qmahaneh area with a capacity of 1/megawatt.

 

The project includes 2,222 power panels, with an area of 9 dunums ,and it production of electrical energy is estimated at 1.7 million kilowatt-hours annually to feed factories , industrial facilities , and the locals’ houses in the area.
