French Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) were beaten by visitors Rennes 2-0 in a Sunday league match.

Rennes attackers Karl Toko Ekambi and Arnaud Kalimuendo were the scorers at Paris’ Parc des Princes.

Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe were on the pitch for the whole match, but the PSG duo could not find a way to score against Rennes.

Defending champions PSG have 66 points in 28 matches to stay on top of the league.

Fifth-place Rennes increased their points to 50.

Second in the league standings, Olympique Marseille have 59 points over a 2-1 win at Reims on Sunday.
