Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by cold and wet air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy and rainy over different regions of the country, Rainfalls are expected to be heavy accompanied by thunder, as snow is also expected to fall over the heights , warning against the formation of flood in valleys and slopes.
The wind will be Westerly to southwesterly of moderate speed with active gusts that exceeds 6 Km / h, particularly in southern regions and the sea waves will be medium in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 11/6, Homs 11/5, Hama 11/6, Lattakia 14/11, Aleppo 12/4.
