Rallies countrywide in solidarity with Gaza

Amman: As the Israeli brutal assault enters its 105th day, thousands of Jordanians took to the streets across the Kingdom on Friday to show their support for Palestinians and to protest against the genocide carried out by the Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip.

In Amman, a protest started from the Grand Husseini Mosque in downtown Amman protesters following Friday prayers denounced the brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip and demand international pressure to end the occupation’s massacres of civilians there.

The protesters commended Jordan’s position, under His Majesty’s leadership, in standing with the brethren in Gaza and the West Bank.

In Tafila, participants in the march, which was organized by popular, youth and partisan activities, following Friday prayers, emphasized their sympathy and support for the Palestinian people, in light of the crimes done by the occupation forces against the brothers in the Gaza Strip.

In Ajloun, protesters emphasized the need to maintain solidarity with the peopl
e of Gaza, who are still facing Israeli aggression and violations for the 105th day, in addition to the siege imposed upon them, murder, genocide, and horrific massacres to which they are subjected.

In the port city of Aqaba, partisan, trade union, and popular events were held, including a solidarity stand in front of the Al-Hussein bin Talal Mosque in support of the brothers in Gaza and in opposition to the ongoing Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip.

In the northern governorate of Irbid, a large-scale protest against the ongoing savage atrocities carried out by Israeli occupation forces in the Gaza Strip started from the Al-Hashemi Mosque in the city.

In the southern governorate of Ma’an, the city saw the organization of public gatherings in front of Al-Sharif Al-Hussein bin Ali Mosque as a show of support for the Gaza Strip’s people and their resilience in the face of Israeli attack.
