Amman – Jordan’s recent spell of rainfall and valley flow has contributed significantly to the country’s water reserves, with 6.7 million cubic meters channelled into the dams, as reported by the Ministry of Water and Irrigation.

According to Jordan News Agency, The influx of water from the recent depression has raised the total storage in the 15 main dams to 72 million cubic meters, amounting to 25 percent of their overall storage capacity of 288 million cubic meters. This increase is a welcome development for the Kingdom, which often faces water scarcity challenges.
