Registration for the 28th Aquafina Ultra Marathon is now open, where runners will hit the trail on Friday, May 12, in the Dead Sea, the Earth’s lowest point. According to Run Jordan, a non-governmental organization dedicated to the promotion of long-distance competitive and leisure running, runners can sign up by visiting the official website www.runjordan.com, and can pass by the organization’s office located in Amman, Shmeisani from 10 am to 6 pm to collect their kit bags. The Aquafina Ultra Marathon is open to runners of all skill levels, and will be divided into three segments: the 50 km Ultra Marathon, the 21 km half Marathon, both start at 6 am, and the 10 km race (the fun race) which will begin at 9 am. The Kids’ race will take place on Friday, May 5, in Al-Hussein Public Parks, Amman, at 9 am. The race will include checkpoints along the way to ensure the safety and well-being of runners, along with aid stations providing hydration and nutrition for participants.
