FIGI: The representative of the Republic of Fiji to Palestine today stressed his country’s full supports for efforts aimed at achieving a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace for the Palestinians and Israelis and recognizing Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.
He stressed the need for both parties to dive into constructive and deep negotiations.
He highlighted the significant role of ICJ as a supreme body in the United Nations, calling on the Court to promote the goals and principles of the United Nations Charter in accordance with Article One of the Charter by developing or building friendly relations between countries based on respect for the principles of the right to self-determination and equal rights.
