RHF Secretary General receives Cham Wings Airlines Commissioned Agent

Manama, Secretary General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), Chief Executive of the National Committee to Support the Victims of the Earthquake in Syria and Turkiye, Dr. Mustafa Sayed received Commissioned Agent of Cham Wings Airlines, Ibrahim Shamtout.

The Cham Wings official praised the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa tasking RHF, under the leadership of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, to provide urgent humanitarian aid to the victims of the earthquake in Syria and Turkiye.

Mr. Shamtout noted that in response to the noble call and out of the company’s keenness to back Bahrain’s efforts in supporting the brethren in Syria, the company will provide free flights to transport the kingdom’s relief aid to the brethren in Syria. A Bahraini medical team will also be dispatched to provide support and assistance to the victims and affected people from the recent earthquake.

Dr. Mustafa Sayed commended cooperation between RHF and Cham Wings Airlines, praising the initiative of Mr. Ibrahim Shamtout to support the humanitarian work of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation for the brethren in Syria, in implementation of the royal directives. He revealed that the medical team will leave for Syria next week, adding that the needed medical equipment requested by the team, following field visits to many hospitals and therapeutic centres in quake-hit sites in Syria, will also be dispatched.

Dr. Mustafa Sayed presented a commemorative shield from RHF to Mr. Ibrahim Shamtout in appreciation of the generous initiative.
