Moscow: The Russian Foreign Ministry said Denmark’s plans to block the passage of oil tankers from Russia through the Danish Straits violate international law and are illegal.

According to a statement, the Kremlin said Saturday, “Copenhagen must pay attention to freedom of navigation and strict compliance with international law, especially since the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea and international law do not allow preventing the passage of ships.”
