Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said Israel has just launched a ground invasion in Gaza, warning that the result of the attack would be a “humanitarian catastrophe of epic proportions for years to come.”

He wrote on X, previously Twitter, that voting against the Arab resolution in the UN General Assembly means approving the Israeli “senseless war and this senseless killing,” noting that millions would be watching every vote. “History will judge.”
