SHARJAH: The first meeting of the Education, Youth, Culture and Media Affairs Committee of Sharjah Consultative Council took place at the Council’s headquarters.
This meeting, part of the regular session for the eleventh legislative term, focused on discussing the committee’s agenda and plans to support various sectors in Sharjah.
During the meeting, chaired by Sheikha Ali Al Nuqbi, the committee emphasised its dedication to supporting the sectors of media, culture, heritage, archaeology, higher education, and private education in the Emirate of Sharjah. Committee members were present at the meeting.
Key topics covered in the meeting included discussions on upcoming activities, the outlining of goals, and implementing initiatives related to media, education, heritage, and archaeology.
The committee also delved into its collaboration with government entities in Sharjah, development of a plan for monitoring private education and cultural institutions, and the continuation of communication with higher educat
ion institutions.
