In a ceremony held, Wednesday in Tunis, 21 families of martyrs who died in terrorist operations, from the military institution, were granted electronic cards related to scholarships for their children.

The ceremony was attended by National Defence Minister, Imed Memmich and President of the «Fida» Foundation Ahmed JaSfer.«This event shows the President of the Republic’s strong will to provide social, moral and financial assistance to the families of the martyrs of the homeland, including those of the National Army,» said the Defence Minister.

Memmich pointed out that the children of the martyrs of the military institution will also be given are privileges.

The “Fida” President indicated that the scholarships allocated to the children of martyrs vary between 880 dinars and 3,300 dinars, adding that this measure is part of implementing the provisions of Decree No. 2022-957 of December 22, 2022.

Ahmed JaSfer also noted that this decree provides other privileges to the children of the martyrs of the National
Army, including the right to public housing throughout their school and university careers.
