GAZA: Dozens of civilians were killed and others were wounded today in Israeli missile strikes and artillery shelling that targeted different parts of the besieged Gaza Strip, said sources.

WAFA correspondent reported that at least ten civilians were killed and others were injured in Israeli airstrikes and artillery attacks targeting multiple civilian homes in the al-Zaytoun and al-Sabra neighborhoods in Gaza City.

At least six other people lost their lives in Israeli aerial and artillery strikes on the Tal al-Zaatar area in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Israeli fighter jets shelled, with several missiles, the Tal al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajlin neighborhoods to the southwest of Gaza City, resulting in the killing and wounding of several civilians.

According to sources, ambulance and rescue crews were unable to reach the targeted locations as a result of Israel’s indiscriminate shooting of anyone who tried to move by gun-firing drones.

In the central Strip, Israeli warplanes targeted several civi
lian homes in the al-Bureij and al-Maghazi refugee camps, causing multiple casualties.

In the city of Khan Yunis, the occupation’s artillery and warplanes launched intense strikes against multiple areas in the central and eastern neighborhoods of the city, resulting in the tragic killing and wounding of dozens of civilians, mostly children, women and elderly.

Arms drones also opened fire on the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, killing and injuring several wounded patients and displaced people who sought refuge inside the Complex.

In Rafah city, Israeli warplanes carried out a series of intense strikes on western areas and the southern border area to the south, causing various injuries among displaced persons.

The Israeli occupation army continued today its aggression against the besieged strip for the fifth consecutive month, claiming so far the lives of tens of thousands of civilians and causing massive destruction to homes, buildings, apartments, properties and infrastructure in the Strip.
