Daraa, SANA- For the second day in a row, the competent authorities, supported by Syrian Arab Army, continued on Saturday the security operations targeting members of Daesh terrorist organization in Jasem city, northwest of Daraa province.
The operation is being carried out in cooperation with civil groups from Daraa province.
A security source told SANA that the operation is being carried out in the northern neighborhood of Jasem city and aims at eliminating the headquarters of Deash existed in the neighborhood.
The source added that the operation targeted one of these headquarters where a number of the organization’s terrorists known as “Princes of the Organization”, one of them is from Iraqi nationality, have been existed inside it.
The security operation has witnessed a large participation by the citizens of the province, as three persons were martyred during their confrontation with the terrorist group, two of them from Jasem city and the third from Tafas city.
The operation has resulted so far in the killing of 7 terrorists from the terrorist organization.
The source pointed out that the curfew in the area will continue until the end of the security operation in order to preserve the lives of civilians.
