The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) set the date for implementing National Insurance Claims System (E-CLAIMS), on September 1, for hospitals that completed the their procedures for linking and aligning their system with the e-claim network.
The decision was taken during a meeting held Sunday, with representatives of Private Hospitals Association (PHA), Jordan Insurance Federation (JIF), private hospitals, insurance business management companies, and Electronic Health Solutions International (EHSI).
During the meeting, stakeholders discussed mechanism of implementing the e-claim system, and agreed to give hospitals that haven’t launched their e-systems a deadline to link their network with the e-claim platform.
Accordingly, the new date for the remaining entities is on November 1 as an ultimatum, in a bid to offer protection for the insured people and beneficiaries of insurance contracts.
