Settlers from the illegal Karmiel settlement, which is built on the lands of the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, today set up tents and seized a water well in Masafer Yatta, according to Osama Makhamra, an anti-settlement activist, as they chased herders out of the pastures. He said that a number of settlers set up tents in al-Thala area, seized a water well, and prevented shepherds and others from accessing it, while they grazed their sheep in agricultural lands and destroyed their summer crops. Meanwhile, settlers of Ein al-Bayda settlement expanded their so-called farm at the expense of the local residents and continue to prevent farmers from accessing it, while chasing herders out of the land in preparation to control the pastures.
