SHARJAH: H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Khorfakkan (UKF), held a meeting today with a delegation from the University of Exeter. The delegation, led by Dr. Lisa Roberts, University of Exeter President, was welcomed by Dr. Sheikh Sultan at the University of Khorfakkan.

At the meeting, the Ruler of Sharjah expressed his appreciation for the strong ties and substantial collaboration in various scientific and educational domains between the University of Exeter and the Emirate of Sharjah.

Discussions encompassed various topics such as joint plans, curricula, and the establishment of specialised research centres and institutes in marine sciences. The meeting also delved into potential areas for collaboration in advancing education and providing teacher training to ensure optimal educational outcomes, aligning with the emirate’s strategy to bolster education and enhance the educational process.
