ABU DHABI, 13th September, 2023 (WAM) H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the “Mother of the Nation,” Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), has extended her sincere condolences and sympathy to the leadership and people of Libya following the recent floods that have caused widespread damage and loss of life. Her Highness prayed to Allah Almighty to have mercy on the victims and grant their families patience and solace. She also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and for the missing to be found safe and sound. Sheikha Fatima also expressed her hope that Libya will overcome this difficult time and emerge stronger than ever.
