Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry arrived in Amman on Thursday where he will participate in an urgent meeting of the the Arab Ministerial Committee for the International Action against Illegal Israeli Policies and Measures in Al-Quds.
Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Hafez tweeted that the urgent meeting will discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian territories.
The meeting also discusses means to decrease the current escalations in Quds and Al Aqsa Mosque and the resulting repercussions and confrontations between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
The meeting will tackle the necessity to stop all practices that target the Arab, Islamic and Christian identity of Quds.
