Temperatures will slightly rise to become around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of atmosphere.
The skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a little chance for showers over different areas, especially over the southern, mountain and coastal regions, Meteorology Department said in its Monday bulletin.
The bulletin added that the wind will be southwesterly in the southern regions, meanwhile it will be westerly to northwesterly in the other regions with low to a moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 29/16, Daraa 27/16, Homs 26/14, Hasaka 27/16, Tartous 24/17, Aleppo 27/15, Deir Ezzor 29/20.
